Shah Rukh Khan, is called the king of romance not for nothing. The 48-year-old actor has so far managed to remain in the big league of Bollywood A-listers with his shear hard work and charm.
The `Chennai Express` star was honoured with French Légion d’honneur or ‘Legion of France’ award—the highest civilian award in France.
SRK was bestowed with this honour by the French foreign minister Laurent Fabius, the foreign minister is currently in the country.
The actor meanwhile took to Twitter expressing his happiness on being conferred with the honour. Shah Rukh Khan tweeted: "Moms b'day & Knight of the Legion of Honour. If she was alive apart from being extremely old she would be very happy.Thx all that is French".
