Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Dravid attend opening ceremony of TUCC

Mumbai: Superstar Shahrukh Khan launched the Toyota University Cricket Championship at the Cricket Club of India on Saturday.

King Khan and former cricketer Rahul Dravid attended the grand opening ceremony of TUCC. According to SRK, he personally does not have time to play cricket and the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) does not need a smaller star like him.

TUCC is a initiative to promote cricket at the university level to contribute towards the revolutionary concept of promoting young talent. SRK hopes the event made for university students, will encourage them in the same way it motivated him in the past.

As per Shahrukh, sports is perhaps the greatest profession in this country.
The first match of TUCC was played between Western Wolves of Mumbai University and Northern Stars of Jamia Millia Islamia. Eight teams will be pitted against each other in this championship that will be played till March 10.
Both Shahrukh and Dravid also addressed a press conference at the TUCC.
