Heavy security for SRK in Ladakh, Pahalgam

The crew of Yash Chopra's untitled next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif is headed to Ladakh today for an eight-day schedule. According to sources, SRK is expected to reach the cold desert by Sunday.

TOI has learnt that Chopra also intends to shoot in the picturesque Pahalgam region for three days. Keeping in mind the valley's tense undercurrent and SRK's popularity, extra security cover has been deployed for the unit - one from Jammu and Kashmir Police and the other provided by the CRPF. Though Kashmir has been stripped of cinema halls for a while now, the excitement in the valley is palpable. People are waiting eagerly for a glimpse of SRK who shot in Ladakh for Dil Se in 1998. It also marks Yash Chopra's return to the valley he immortalised in the 1976 blockbuster Kabhi Kabhie.
