Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is believed to be a well-read man. In a documentary by star chef Vikas Khanna, the actor will be seen sharing his views on food and spirituality.
The documentary is a part of the ‘Holy Kitchen’ film series that looks at different religions and their food customs. The film titled ‘The Moon of EID’ will have SRK speak about his Eid parties, and his food beliefs with reference to iftar - the evening meal when people gather together to break their fast during Ramadan.
The first film of the series was based on Langar - the Sikh community kitchen. Other films explored the food traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Zoroashtrianism and Judaism,
Apart from being a filmmaker and chef, Vikas was seen as one of the judges in ‘MasterChef India (Season 2)’.
