Shah Rukh Khan wrecks 67 cars for Don 2!!

The high-speed car chase sequence took three weeks to shoot

Don 2, the sequel to the movie Don, has packed a high-speed car chase scene shot with Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in Berlin, which saw the destruction of 67 cars. Ten of those cars where specially shipped from Korea which included the 2012 Hyundai Sonata and the Hyundai Sonata Fe. A BMW 5-Series and Alfa Romeo MiTo were also seen being used and destroyed in the car chase.

"Don 2 chase sequence brings the wow factor to the entire film. It is one the best sequence to be shot on Indian celluloid. Its grandeur and scale just mesmerizes audience." Shah Rukh Khan said. 

The sequence took three weeks to be filmed for which the busy Berlin streets were cordoned off. The Brandenburgh Gate which houses the United States and the Russian Consulates was also shut down to film the climax of the car chase sequence; permission for which was previously denied for many Hollywood films. Every day, alternate routes and diversions were provided to commuters in lieu of the roads that were cordoned off.

The car chase scene is touted to be one of the best action sequences in Bollywood so far by film critics.
