Chatting with discarded Indian left-arm-spinner Murali Kartik who is plying his trade for the Pune Warriors in IPL 4 turned out to be an interesting affair on Tuesday. As one told him about the Kolkata Knight Riders and how well they are doing this season, he suddenly got nostalgic and said, "Yeah, we are doing really well this season." As he realised that coach Geoff Marsh was sitting next to him, he corrected himself and said, "Oh, 'they' are doing well." Clearly, Kartik seems to be having fond memories of his three-year association with the SKR-owned outfit.
He also seemed happy about the fact that there are no IPL parties to attend anymore. "That's one big change I can notice from previous IPLs. The players can retire to their rooms a lot earlier now," he said.
